Book List Archive

Over many years Storylines and its predecessor – the Children’s Literature Association (CLA) – produced  thematic booklists.

These show a history of children’s books (and layouts!) – offering snapshots into the past of international and New Zealand children’s literature.

Storylines booklists contain lists of books suitable for reading to or giving to young people in your life.

Please refer also to the Storylines Notable Book Awards lists. These are award winning New Zealand titles from past years, selected by Storylines judging panels.

The lists are available in downloadable, printable, PDF files.
