Te Pānui o Te Awhi Rito – Ben Brown

Rachel Esson, National Librarian Te Pouhuaki, welcomed guests to the address of Te Awhi Rito Reading Ambassador, Ben BrownTe Pānui o Te Awhi Rito: Te hā, te kupu, te kōrero was held at the National Library Auditorium Taiwhanga Kauhau in Wellington on 24 November 2022. Minister of Internal Affairs and Associate Minister of Education Jan Tinetti also addressed guests and introduced Ben.

This was an opportunity to hear Ben’s reflections as he was nearing the end of his term as Te Awhi Rito, and was widely applauded by in-person and online audience members. Check out the video of Ben’s address below or here.
