Te pānui o Te Awhi Rito – Ben Brown

Rachel Esson, National Librarian Te Pouhuaki, welcomed guests to Te pānui o Te Awhi Rito: Te hā, te kupu, te kōrero – the address of Te Awhi Rito Reading Ambassador, Ben Brown, which was held at National Library Auditorium Taiwhanga Kauhau in Wellingtonon 24 November 2022. Minister of Internal Affairs and Associate Minister of Education Hon. Jan Tinetti also addressed guests and introduced Ben.

This was an opportunity to hear Ben’s reflections as he nears the end of his term as Te Awhi Rito, and was  widely applauded by in-person and online  audience members. A video of Ben’s address will be available early in 2023.
