Free Story Sparks Workshops Coming to Te Tai Tokerau!
As part of the Storylines Te Tai Tokerau / Northland Story Tour, Storylines is delighted to present an afternoon of creativity, imagination and inspiration with our Story Sparks – Kids Workshops.
Designed for tamariki and rangatahi in Years 3–13, these hands-on workshops give young writers and illustrators the opportunity to learn directly from some of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading authors and illustrators.
Choose from four inspiring workshops:
- 🥥 Inangaro Vakaafi – Niu Tupu Adventures (Illustration, Years 3–6)
- 🖍️ Paul Beavis – How Pictures Tell Stories (Illustration, Years 4–7)
- 📚 Tim Tipene – Creating with Words (Writing & Illustrating, Years 6+)
- ✍️ Shilo Kino – Finding Your Unique Voice (Writing, Years 7+)
