‘Midnight at the Edge of Reading’ Keynote Address by Kate De Goldi.

New Zealand’s Te Awhi Rito Reading Ambassador Kate De Goldi electrified the nearly 200 attending the Storylines Children’s Writers and Illustrators’ National Hui in Auckland on 3-4 October with her keynote address Midnight at the Edge of Reading.

Her address was an impassioned ‘call to arms’ – how adults can and must halt the decline in children’s and teens’ reading. Storylines warmly thanks Kate for making this important and inspirational talk available to a wider audience.
