Robert Sullivan

Robert Sullivan, of Ngā Puhi, Kai Tahu and Irish descent, is an internationally published poet with seven collections of poetry released. Teaming up with Chris Slane, Robert took the well-known story of the Polynesian demigod Māui and turned it into a short graphic novel for children called Māui: Legends of the Outcast (1997). He then collaborated with Gavin Bishop on the award-winning Weaving Earth and Sky: Myths & Legends of Aotearoa in 2002.
