Regan Kupu Stokes

Kupu (Nō Ngāi Te Rangi, nō Ingarangi) is an Ōhinehou Lyttelton-based pāpā, writer, poet, kaiako reo Māori, translator and musician. He is an avid reader of children’s literature with his tamariki and has had poetry work published in takahē and The Quick Brown Dog. He is a graduate of the Hagley Writers’ Institute and writes poems that find humour in this strange world that we find ourselves in as well as bilingual songs for his bands HOIHOI and SWIPERS.
