Raymond McGrath

Raymond McGrath is an award winning 25-year veteran of the film, television, advertising and children’s publishing industries. He directs, designs, develops, produces and creates original content. He is a writer and illustrator of children’s books and his books have been published and sold in UK, France and USA.

He also lectures and teaches the craft of animation, academic studies and professional practice across Certificate, Diploma, undergraduate degree, and Honours levels. He holds a Diploma in Character Animation, a Master of Media Arts and has recently completed a Master of Creative Writing (Screenwriting).

Raymond’s creative focus is storytelling. He says that the challenge of “working from the kernel of a concept, through to script and then finished production, in whichever medium is best suited to my particular narrative, has been my passion since I began my professional creative journey. Above all, I have a natural love for the traditional creative mediums of film, art and music, constantly strive for timeless quality and originality in storytelling.”

He lives in the country with his wife, four children and a “small but perfectly formed cluckery of chickens”.
