Kate Gallant

Kate Gallant grew up in Titirangi, Auckland. She moved to Tauranga in 1995, where she gained a BA in English and History as well as a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from Waikato University. Having lived on a boat for six years, Kate moved to a small coastal village south of Whanganui in 2018, where she now enjoys beachcombing, weaving and writing.

Kate is a secondary school English teacher and a graduate of the Diploma in Writing Stories for Children from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies.
