Profile

Cristina Sanders

Cristina Sanders is an historical fiction writer from Wellington, now living in Hawke’s Bay. She has a book review blog and writes about New Zealand history, travel and running. Her career in the book trade travelled through the Gateway Children’s Bookshop, New Zealand libraries, some years with Collins Publishers in New Zealand, Hodder & Stoughton in London and back to Booksellers New Zealand. This was followed by a business career. In 2018 she completed the Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing at Whitireia. Since then she’s either up the mast of the Spirit of New Zealand, writing and talking about colonial fiction, planting trees or running.
