Amy Martin lives on a lifestyle block near Hamilton, where she spends her days working as a web developer.

She began writing stories as a child before going on to earn a BA in English from the University of Waikato. Her past manuscripts have been shortlisted for both the  Storylines Tessa Duder Award and the Ampersand Prize.

She enjoys baking cookies, drinking tea, and curling up with a good book (one she preferably didn’t have to write herself.)
