Tim Tipene has been named the recipient of the 2026 Margaret Mahy Medal and Lecture Award. He will be presented with the Margaret Mahy Medal and will deliver the 2026 Storylines Margaret Mahy Lecture, ahead of the announcement of the other 2026 manuscript awards and the 2025 Storylines Notable Book Awards.
