2022 New Zealand Writers and Illustrators’ Hui – registration form

The 2022 New Zealand Children’s Writers and Illustrators’ Hui is being held at King’s School, Remuera, Auckland from 15-17 July 2022.

The hui will take place under orange or green Covid settings. If the hui is cancelled or postponed due to Covid restrictions, all registration fees will be refunded in full. Storylines is unable to refund credit card fees, and  is not liable for any additional expenses; we recommend considering insurance for travel and accommodation, or checking with your travel and accommodation providers about refunds or credits.

All presenters and participants are required to be double-vaccinated against Covid, and to show your vaccination pass on arrival. You will be required to wear masks and observe any other measures required by government for events and conferences of this nature, and measures required by the hui venue.

To secure your booking, you must pay in full when registering. In the event that the hui is cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions, you will receive a refund of your registration fee in full. Credit card service fees will not be refunded. Storylines is not liable for any additional expenses and recommends insurance for travel and accommodation.

Please note that questions with an * are compulsory and must be completed.

Due to Covid-19, a separate registration MUST be made for each person attending. If numbers attending are limited, registrations will be taken on a "first come, first in" basis, based on when payments are received.

Your registration is unable to be transferred to anyone else for all or part of the Hui.

Parallel session workshops

Numbers are limited for each parallel session, so please state your preferences below.  To help with your selection you can view the session descriptions and speaker biographies here. Please choose your sessions carefully. Changes cannot be made after your registration form is submitted.

Payment

Registration costs include GST, the Literary High Tea, two lunches and morning and afternoon teas.

Storylines members $450; Non-members $500. There is a non-refundable credit card fee if you select to pay by credit card.

You will receive a refund of the registration fee in full if we are unable to run the Hui due to  Covid-19 restrcitions. Read more here.
