2026 Storylines National Hui – Registration Form

The 2026 Storylines Children’s Writers and Illustrators’ National Hui is being held at Dilworth School, Remuera, Auckland on 3 & 4 October 2026.

If the hui is cancelled or postponed due to Covid restrictions, all registration fees will be refunded in full. Storylines is unable to refund credit card fees, and  is not liable for any additional expenses; we recommend considering insurance for travel and accommodation, or checking with your travel and accommodation providers about refunds or credits.

Registration form

To secure your booking, you must pay in full when registering. In the event that the hui is cancelled or postponed, you will receive a refund of your registration fee in full. Credit card service fees will not be refunded. Storylines is not liable for any additional expenses and recommends insurance for travel and accommodation.

Please note that questions with an * are compulsory and must be completed.

A separate registration is required for each person attending. If numbers attending are limited, registrations will be taken on a first come, first in basis, based on when payments are received.

Your registration is unable to be transferred to anyone else for all or part of the Hui.

Parallel session workshops

Numbers are limited for each parallel session, so please state your preferences below.  To help with your selection you can view the workshop descriptions and speaker biographies. Please choose your sessions carefully. Changes cannot be made after your registration form is submitted.

The Literary Banquet

Saturday 3 October 2026, 6.15pm (Dilworth Senior School Dining Hall)

Banquet Dinner ticket: $45

The literary banquet is included in the cost of your registration. However, if you wish to purchase additional dinner tickets, please do so here.


Payment

Registration fees include GST, the Literary Banquet, two lunches, morning and afternoon teas.

Early Bird Fee: Storylines members $395; Non-members $440.

Valid to 5 July 2026. From 6 July 2026

Storylines members $455; Non-members $505.


Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. Please read the following information carefully.

If Storylines cancels the Hui
You will receive a full refund. Please note that credit card convenience fees are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to Storylines. The following terms apply:

Up to and including 1 August 2026

A full refund will be provided (excluding non-refundable credit card convenience fees).

2 August - 6 September 2026
An $80 administration fee will be deducted from your refund. (Refund excludes non-refundable credit card convenience fees.)

From 7 September 2026 onwards
No refunds will be issued.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
