The Storylines Trust is pleased to advise that its new website is now live at www.storylines.org.nz. Established popular features such as updates and background on the Storylines Festival, author and Illustrator profiles, comprehensive information on Storylines’ eight national awards and the online year book The Inside Story are all retained, along with new features and an easy to read and navigate new layout.
An immediately useful website feature is a Christmas Book List for 2015, containing a comprehensive selection of books by New Zealand authors and illustrators, or published by Kiwi publishers. The list, which includes fiction suitable for children and young adults, non-fiction and anthologies, was compiled by qualified members of Storylines’ Management Committee. Read the full list here.
Teachers please note that bookings are now open for the Story Tours held in greater Auckland and Northland as part of the Storylines Festival in August 2016. Early bookings are essential for these popular and FREE tours by leading authors and illustrators. More information here.
The ‘Books Alive’ drama presentations bringing New Zealand books to life are a popular feature of the Auckland Family Days. Storylines invites teachers to give their children the thrill of participating in a major festival. Email us for more information.
