Zak Waipara

ZakBioPic16-716A former NZ Herald graphic artist and AUT Digital Media Lecturer, Zak Waipara (Rongowhakaata, Ngati Porou, Ngati Ruapani, Ngati Kahungunu) is now HOD of Animation at Animation College. He has worked as a designer for Māori Television’s children’s show Miharo, illustrated comics and a range of books, and created animated music videos. Zak also created the design and artwork for New Zealand's International Children's Book Day 2007 poster.
