Juliette MacIver

Juliette MacIver has always enjoyed writing, but never aspired to the idea of ‘being a writer’ as such. She grew up in Wellington and went to Victoria University, where she completed a degree in linguistics, then a diploma in teaching English. Juliette then taught English on and off and travelled around Thailand and Europe.
After a short spell in a government department, she left to become a full-time mother and now has four children. Juliette found this to be a wonderful job and one that involved a vast amount of ‘market research’ for her eventual evolution into a children’s author.
