Spencer Hall

Spencer Hall is a graduate of the Dunedin School of Art. He’s exhibited installations, sculpture, printmaking and video work but his main passion is comics.
Since joining the Dunedin Comic Collective in 2009 he has been a prolific cartoonist and a comics editor for Critic*INK and the Collective’s many publications. He has put on many comic, zine and drawing workshops around Dunedin and is a driving force behind Dunedin’s Zinefest, an annual self-publishing, print media and DIY culture festival.
Spencer is constantly busy in his studio, ‘Fat Al’s’, doing zines, comics, illustration and design work. When he’s not doing that he runs a comic store in Port Chalmers and can be heard over the airwaves on Radio One’s Odditties Show.
