Holly Gooch

Holly Gooch is New Zealand’s only storytailor. She is a storyteller with a twist. Or perhaps a twisted storyteller? Holly sees herself as on a mission to open up the imaginations of Kiwis throughout New Zealand just a little bit wider.
Holly writes contemporary stories and songs that appeal to the cheeky side of children and adults alike and performs them to audiences in libraries, schools and festivals around the country.

In Holly’s shows the audience can witness, or be involved in, singing, dancing, acting, yoga, pilates, laughing, and/or innovative thinking. Her shows always have story and love at the heart of them.
Holly has trained with the International School of Storytelling, is a qualified teacher, and a published author who has won awards for her writing. She has two children, a husband and two cats, all of whom she drives bananas.
