BURNING ISSUES: hui for published authors & illustrators sponsored by Kiwi Write4Kidz.
4.30 – 5.00pm  Informal chat over drinks and nibbles
5.00pm – 7.30pm  –– opportunity to talk about any and all issues that concern you in the publishing industry. If you would like a particular issue raised please email this to mariagill@ihug.co.nz for inclusion on the agenda.
Cost: Free except for price of half a pizza ($7.50) delivered by local pizza company around 7pm.

2.30 – 3.30 pm: EDUCATIONAL PUBLICATIONS with a representative from Learning Media, Maria Gill (author) and Jenny Cooper (illustrator).

4.00 – 5.00 pm: PANEL: E-BOOKS and SELF PUBLISHING. Is this our publishing future – with Maggie Tarver, Raymond Huber, and Adele Broadbent

Monday 3rd June
Open to all children's book illustrators, professional or aspiring. Bring along a topic you wish to discuss and a skill you can share with others. Attendance will be free of charge thanks to the Wellington Children's Book Association. BYO lunch or lunch money. Author/Illustrator Ruth Paul will organise the day and circulate details amongst participants once attendance is confirmed. There has been great interest expressed in this day so enrol early to help shape the format. Any queries can be directed to ruth@ruthpaul.co.nz.
