South Korean IBBY (KBBY) invited each IBBY member country to attend their children's book festival in 2007 on Nami Island, two hours out of Seoul.
Rosemary Tisdall was lucky enough to represent New Zealand. She was subsequently invited by KBBY to be on an international committee, along with the other 21 delegates who had attended the festival.
They met again in Korea in 2009 to plan an anthology of stories about peace.
Each country invited an author and illustrator to create a story about peace reflecting their country.
Jennifer Beck and
Lindy Fisher created 'Remember that November'.

The anthology,
Peace Story, was launched at the 2010 children's book festival on Nami Island in October 2010 to which Rosemary, Jennifer and Lindy were all invited, with the other participating countries.
