Robert Sullivan

Robert_Sullivan.jpgRobert Sullivan, of Nga Puhi, Kai Tahu and Irish descent, is an internationally published poet with seven collections of poetry released. Teaming up with Chris Slane, Robert took the well-known story of the Polynesian demigod Māui and turned it into a short graphic novel for children called Maui: Legends of the Outcast (1997). He then collaborated with Gavin Bishop on the award-winning Weaving Earth and Sky: Myths & Legends of Aotearoa in 2002.
