Julia Owen

Julia_Owen.jpgJulia Owen was born in Auckland in1960. She finished her primary education while her family was living in Rarotonga, before returning to Howick.
In 1996 Julia took a six-month course called ‘Te tuhi tuhi ma nga tamariki: writing for children in Māori and English’ at Rawene Polytech. Julia is the mother of four boys and currently lives in the Hokianga, where she farms and writes young adult fiction.
