Steve Gurney

Steve Gurney was born in 1963. He graduated with an Engineering degree, but embarked on a professional sporting career, during which he won adventure races like the Coast to Coast, invented lots of crazy (but clever) race equipment (like a bike with wings), caught leptospirosis from bats in Borneo caves, nearly died, and fought back again to win  more races.
He has written three books and is now a motivational speaker.
