Lloyd Spencer Davis

Lloyd is a director and scriptwriter of natural history documentaries – his films having won international awards;  an award-winning photographer; and a university professor with over 90 scientific publications that have earned him such academic honours as a Fulbright Award, an Anzac Fellowship, and a Prince & Princess of Wales Science Award. In 1997, he received the Foundation for Research Science and Technology’s Merit Award for excellence in scientific communication.

Lloyd is currently Director of the world’s first university course in natural history filmmaking and New Zealand’s first centre for science communication.
