Sacha Cotter

Sacha Cotter-471Sacha grew up in rural Bay of Plenty where she enjoyed the outdoors. As a child, Roald Dahl was her idol and she dreamed of pursuing a career as a writer.
Before she became published she completed an Arts Degree and a Teaching Diploma (she fancied herself as Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus), worked in a number of interesting jobs, and travelled extensively, picking up the Spanish language along the way.
When her short screenplay Wasabi Peas was a semi-finalist at the L.A  Comedy Shorts Festival in 2013, she took it as a sign to commit to her childhood dream  of writing for children.
