Adele Broadbent

Adele Broadbent-576Adele Broadbent is the author of four novels for children and also has had several educational titles with Wendy Pye Publishers and Learning Media.
Her novel Just Jack was a finalist in the 2012 New Zealand Post Children’s Book Awards and was also a Storylines Notable Book for the same year. Too Many Secrets, the first book in the Herrick series, was nominated in the 2011 New Zealand Post Children’s Book Awards and its sequel, The Last Herrick Secret, was launched November 2012. Her fourth book Trouble in Time was a finalist in the 2015 LIANZA Awards and a Storylines Notable Book.
Adele's passion is children's books. She has a new review site to help teachers, librarians, parents and students find the right book for their needs. She loves her job as a children’s bookseller with Wardini Books and loves working working on her small lifestyle block. Adele has just completed her first teen novel and is working on another novel for 8–12 year olds.
