Artist Vasanti Unka is a first generation Indian New Zealander who grew up in New Zealand.
Vasanti won a Spectrum Design Award for Best Educational Book Design in 2006 for her work on John Parker's Frontier of Dreams. She has worked on the design of several striking books including Feana Tu'akoi's What is a ..? series.
