Tina Shaw

Tina Shaw is the author of five novels for adults, the most recent being The Black Madonna, published by Penguin Books in 2005. Her short stories have been published in many anthologies, literary journals and magazines, and she was first runner-up of the 2003 Sunday Star-Times Short Story Competition. Tina was a 1999 recipient of the Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellowship, and has held the Creative New Zealand Berlin Writers' Residency. She was Writer in Residence at the University of Waikato in 2005, and has since been writing junior and young adult fiction. She lives in Auckland with her partner and an English Pointer called Monty.
