Reuben Schwarz

Reporting on technology and writing children’s books seem worlds apart, but Reuben combines both into his busy schedule, reporting for The Dominion Post during the week as the Information and Communication Technology Reporter and working on children’s books whenever he has the time. Reuben, who spent most of his life in Canada, returned to New Zealand after the completion of a BSc(Hons). In 2004 he enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Journalism at University of Canterbury. He enjoys that ‘despite completely different backgrounds, ages and experiences, people can connect with what you write.’ He was the Qantas Media Award recipient in 2006.
