Currently living in the remote Catlins area south of Dunedin, Diana Noonan has a teaching background and a degree in English from the University of Otago. She has written across the range from picture books to non fiction and educational readers. She is editor of the School Journal for older readers. In 1993 she was Writer in Residence at Dunedin College of Education. Her books have been published in Australia, UK, USA, Gemany and Holland.
