Sarah Johnson

Sarah_Johnson_1.jpgSarah lives with her partner, four children and numerous chickens in Whaingaroa, Raglan, on the North Island’s wild west coast.

The manuscript of her picture book, Wooden Arms, was the winner of the Storylines Joy Cowley Award in 2011. Wooden Arms has been beautifully illustrated by Scott Tulloch and will be published by Scholastic in August 2012.
Sarah has since written several other children’s chapter and picture books that she is currently finding homes for. At present she is working on a picture book about poetry and a novel about bonsai.
