Sarah Johnson Sarah lives with her partner, four children and numerous chickens in Whaingaroa, Raglan, on the North Island’s wild west coast.She works from home as a freelance writer, and has previously published a chapter book for children, Ella and Ob (Scholastic, 2008), as well as books and stories for grown-ups. The manuscript of her picture book, Wooden Arms, was the winner of the Storylines Joy Cowley Award in 2011. Wooden Arms has been beautifully illustrated by Scott Tulloch and will be published by Scholastic in August 2012. Sarah has since written several other children’s chapter and picture books that she is currently finding homes for. At present she is working on a picture book about poetry and a novel about bonsai.
