Sandy McKay

Sandy_McKay_1.JPGSandy McKay was born in Dunedin in 1959. After her years at the University of Otago, and odd jobbing Sandy opened a fruit shop. She ran the shop until 1987, when she became a free-lance writer. Sandy has written features for Next, More, and the New Zealand Women's Weekly. Sandy lives in Dunedin with her husband and children. In 2002 she was Writer in Residence at the Dunedin College of Education.
