Janine McVeagh

Janine McVeagh was born and educated in Napier before studying at Victoria University, Christchurch College of Education and Charles Sturt University.

While at home, being a full-time mum, Janine thought about writing. But it was a Fiona Kidman writing course that set her on her way. Her stories have been broadcast on radio, and published in the School Journal. She now has novels for children published.

Janine is involved in her local community - standing for parliament, and being on the local community board. The environment is of great concern to her.  She currently teaches the online writing course for Northland Polytechnic.
