Glynne MacLean

Glynne Maclean was born in Christchurch in 1964. Glynne graduated from Waikato University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts and decided to become a writer in 1996 after a successful career in the travel industry. She builds commercial websites on contract and writes a computer issues column for a Wellington magazine Chatterbox. Her first novel, Roivan, was a finalist in the Sir Julius Vogel Best Novel category and won the 2003 Sir Julius Vogel Award for Best New Talent. Based in Greytown, Glynne is also a poet, and has released an adult fiction novel, Love in Shades of Grey.
