Patricia Grace

Patricia_Grace.jpgBorn in 1937, Patricia Grace is of Ngati Toa, Ngati Raukawa and Te Ati Awa descent, and is affiliated to Ngati Porou by marriage. Patricia's first published writing was for adults but, since the 1980s, has written more and more for children. The Kuia and the Spider and Watercress Tuna and the Children of Champion Street, both illustrated by Robyn Kahukiwa, are New Zealand classics.
