Ngāreta Gabel

Ngāreta Gabel has been writing for her daughter in Māori since she was little and she was encouraged to send some stories to a publisher. Ngāreta is from the hapu Te Paatu and Ngati Tara of the Ngati Kahu tribe. She is passionate about children reading and learning te reo. She was raised in Kawakawa and now lives in Kaikohe.
