Kelly Gardiner

Kelly was born and grew up in Melbourne. She learnt to fence when she was 11 and has always been interested in swords, boats, ships and history. She has a degree in professional writing and editing, and a Master of Arts (Literature). She has spent several years living on Waiheke Island in New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf. Currently Kelly is back in Melbourne working at the State Library of Victoria. She is the author of the popular Swashbuckler trilogy.
