Brian Falkner

Brian_Falkner.jpgBrian Falkner was born in 1962 in Auckland and grew up on the North Shore, where he went to Willow Park Primary, Northcote Intermediate and Northcote College. He left for the South Island at 21, but came back to Auckland at 26, and has lived there ever since. He studied computer science at Auckland University and later gained a diploma of journalism.

Brian has had an unusual variety of jobs: motorcycle courier, ditch digger, dish washer, radio journalist, copywriter (he won the 1988 award for Best Radio Copywriter in New Zealand), radio announcer, graphic designer and internet developer. He now works as a consultant. For many years, Brian supported the Storylines website.

Brian now resides on the Gold Coast, Australia. He enjoys talking to kids in schools, and watching rugby league, especially the Warriors!
