Tanya Batt is a confessed story-o-phile and frock-o-holic. She was born in NZ, grew up in Australia and has been roaming the world telling stories since. Her love of stories and storytelling is expressed through both performance and writing. Tanya specialises in the retelling of traditional tales and quirky variants on the ordinary. She believes stories remind us that there is always an unaccountable amount of mystery and magic in the world we live in. Tanya has written several books about imaginative play and dance for Playcentre.
