Iraqi-born illustrator Lamia Aziz has a Diploma of Graphic Art from the Baghdad Institue of Fine Arts. She has worked as a designer and art teacher. Her work has exhibited at Bologna Children's Book Fair, Italy and in France, Lebanon and Jordan. Lamia now lives in Auckland with her husband, Samer who is also an artist, and family.
